What Is Mold Racking?
Mold racking is designed for storing various types of molds such as plastic, hardware, die-casting, powder metallurgy, extrusion molds, and more. These racks are safe and reliable, equipped with additional safety devices and operate smoothly bearing assemblies, including a balanced sliding mechanism and an independent mold lifting device, saving valuable floor space. Each rack occupies only 1.8 square meters yet can store dozens of medium and small-sized molds. They are capable of bearing weights up to 800kgs/1800kgs per level. With a scientific and reasonable structure, these racks are sturdy and reliable once assembled, offering high safety. Welcome inquiries for custom mold rack solutions tailored to your needs.

Installation of Mold rack
Installing the mold storage rack system involves a more complex process than setting up pallet racks. Initially, position the column vertically. Próximo, secure the column’s top and bottom using connecting rods through the pre-drilled holes, tightening the screws to stabilize the structure. Then, place the drawer panel onto the rail and attach the anti-slip buckle. It’s essential to confirm that the drawers are securely installed and slide smoothly without jamming.
The Main Production Process Of Heavy Duty Mold Racks
1
Punching Process
Holes are spaced along the entire length of the hanging plate at regular intervals, typically 50mm or 75mm apart, for attaching the cross beams.
2
Rolling Process
The uprights and beams are shaped from steel coil using rolling machinery, with beams often categorized as P beams and interlock beams, while uprights commonly feature diamond or teardrop holes.
3
Welding Process
By welding the hanging plate to the beam and the upright to the footplate, a secure connection is achieved, significantly enhancing the structural stability of the racking system.
4
Spraying And Baking Process
After welding, the product is polished, followed by the application of electrostatic powder coating technology on its surface, which is then cured in a high-temperature oven to guarantee a smooth finish.
5
Packaging Process
Reaching the final stage, once product manufacturing is concluded, we typically proceed with packaging the items intended for export. This step ensures protection against damage during long-haul transit and safeguards against corrosion from seawater exposure throughout the shipping process.
